When setting out on any coaching assignment, whether one to one, or a broader remit driven by organisational needs or goals, I will always start by building a clear picture of the now and then work collaboratively to help develop an impactful & robust coaching agenda. I will then tailor my approach to what is best for you and delivery against the agreed plan. That may include 360 and psychometric tools, values or career driven exercises, exploring the challenges highlighted at the outset or developing skills to broaden capability.
No matter what the coaching agenda, my number one priority is always to build the trust and rapport that is vital for a successful coaching relationship. A supportive and non judgemental environment is critical in ensuring the coachee is both comfortable and uninhibited, enabling them to explore their own thinking and strive for solutions.
